Meet Rhia, our beautiful 8½-year-old dachshund who’s come such a long way and is now ready to find her happy ever after.
When Rhia arrived at the barn, she was very overweight and needed a bit of extra help. Thanks to the amazing support from everyone who donated to her fundraiser, she’s had surgery to remove the excess skin that was making her uncomfortable — and she’s feeling better than ever! 🌟
Rhia has had a thorough examination at the vets and we’re delighted to say she’s now fit, well, and in full health — ready to start the next chapter of her life. 🩺💪
Like many rescues, Rhia can be a little unsure in new surroundings at first, but with patience and kindness she quickly shows her true, gentle heart. Once she trusts you, she forms the most special bond — she’ll follow you everywhere and just wants to be by your side. ❤

• Can live happily on her own or with other dogs
• Not sure about cats yet
• Walks beautifully on the lead and travels well in the car
• Extremely affectionate, cuddly, and loves being close to her person
