🐾 Meet Brodie 🐾
Brodie’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable. When he first came into our care, he was extremely unwell, unable to stand, and desperately in need of urgent veterinary treatment. Thanks to the dedication of our vets, volunteers, foster carers and supporters, this gentle boy has made an amazing recovery.
Now, after lots of care, proper nutrition and love, Brodie is ready to take the next big step in his life — finding a home of his own.
About Brodie:
Brodie is a 3 year old labradoodle with the softest soul. While he can be a little nervous when first meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for his sweet and affectionate nature to shine through. Once he trusts you, he is incredibly loyal, loving and eager to please.
Brodie has many amazing qualities: he loves other dogs, walks well on the lead, is toilet trained and travels well the car. He could happily live with dog savvy children and cats pending a meet and great.
However, Brodie does have separation anxiety, which means he becomes distressed when away from his chosen people. His future family will need to be patient, understanding and committed to helping him build confidence and independence over time. He cannot be left alone for long periods, so he would be best suited to a home where someone is around most of the day or can arrange dog-friendly routines.
This isn’t a flaw — it’s simply the result of everything he has been through. With stability, kindness and the right support, Brodie will continue to grow into the happy, secure dog he deserves to be.
Brodie would love a home where he is treated as a true family member — included in daily life, given love, structure and reassurance. In return, he will give his heart completely and be a devoted, joyful companion.
